How You Can Help The Homeless In Hampton Roads This October!
The month of October can be a spooky month, maybe even a scary month with monstrous problems. Yikes!! Well maybe not, but words like that seem to be popping up everywhere as kids and adults alike look forward to Halloween.
In fact, according to the USA Today, adults spend more on themselves to celebrate Halloween than any other day during the year. We get that. Especially if they want to hang out with the kids to go trick or treating, or to a Halloween party of some kind.
For many homeowners and home buyers though, they are truly scared. Scared to death of how in the world they are going to get out of their house and into their next one (the trick).
Our Treat: As a result of working with hundreds families over a 15-year time span, we have developed a special program to help home sellers and homebuyers. We will guarantee the sale of their present home at a price agreeable to them and in the unlikely event their home does not sell, we’ll buy it. Now that is a how you turn a trick into a real treat.
AND remember… YOUR referrals help the Homeless.
Our heart breaks for many young people and families who will not be able to enjoy this fun time of the year out trick or treating or going to Halloween parties.
As you know, tragedy can fall on anyone. Tragedies like sickness, cancers, financial loss & many other traumatic events. We aim to do what we can to help kids of families who are unable to get out and have fun right now, due to their unfortunate circumstances.
Like the families that’s Homeless & fighting hard to get back on their feet.
Through our “GO SERVE BIG” initiative, we are on a mission to raise $15,000. Here at Reeds Real Estate we believe in CHANGING LIVES THROUGH REAL ESTATE & giving back to our community by donating a portion of each successful transaction we make towards non-profit organizations that are near and dear to us. These two amazing non-profit organizations are The Elder's House & The Union Mission Ministries.
These non-profit organizations provide homes for the Homelessness & our Youth right here within Hampton Roads Community.
As you probably know Union Mission Ministries does great work in our community with helping the homeless by providing shelter and food. They are dedicated to helping people overcome their homelessness and giving them a chance to start again. By first providing for their physical needs, then providing jobs and life skills training, and emotional and spiritual counseling, where LIVES ARE CHANGED FOREVER.
Also as you know, The Elder’s House of Chesapeake passion, vision, and desire is to assist young people by enabling them to remain focused in life, by having an opportunity to be successful and productive, and by developing their spiritual maturity in Christ. Elder's House provides a nurturing environment for teens who, unfortunately, live in an environment that is not conducive to achieving their goals. These teens are not troubled youth, but are the children of troubled or absent parents, who may be struggling with their own problems or who are not in a position to take care of them.
And since these non-profits organizations depend on Sponsorships and Donations to continue their worthy causes for The Homeless & Youth within our community. We remain committed to donating a portion of our income from selling homes to the great work that they do. So, YOUR REFERRALS REALLY DO HELP THE HOMELESS RIGHT HERE IN HAMPTON ROADS!
